The Poachers Barn re-opened it's doors on December 5th 2008
After a lengthy £45k referbishment internally, the Poachers has been refurbished to a high standard with a number of very noticable changes made to all areas of the pub, restaurant and the B & B
A new and improved menu has been implemented which is freshly cooked using locally sorced produce and has a wide selection of meals for all tastes at very competitive prices
The business is now run by the Richard & Zoe Gawthorpe, along with there son Jake, who have worked for some of the UK largest company's in some of there largest food houses. Both Richard and Zoe are experienced in high turn over premises and are now transferring their vast experience into The Poachers Barn to return the business to it's former glory.
Working as part of a big family, along with Richard, Zoe and Jake are Dorne, Colin, Dougie, Amber. Ang and Phil All members of the family who are working hard to turn The Poachers Barn into a family friendly environment run by a family.
